Trade Posts

Trade posts are an additional way to earn money on the server. By transporting items from one trade post to another, you can earn cash based on the distance and initial amount spent on cargo. There are several trade posts across the map and can all be seen by the live map, indicated by a stack of coins icon.

How to buy and sell goods from Trade Posts

Buying and selling goods from trade posts is done by doing the following

1. Sail your movecraft craft to a location at least around 100 blocks from the NPC located at the trade post.

2. If you wish to see the items the trader provides, head closer and you will see a display showing the items that the trader sells and buys, and the prices.

3. To buy goods from the trader, make sure you are piloting your craft and enter the command /load amount | all while holding the item you wish to purchase from the trader.

4. Once this is done, the ship will begin loading empty chest slots with the item you purchased, and your purchase will be announced across the server with your coordinates attached. Be aware of pirates.

5. Transport these items to another trader who is willing to buy your items, and once within at least 100 blocks, enter the command /unload amount | all with the item you wish to sell in your hand.

6. Once done unloading, you will have earned an ample profit.

Use the command /kit cargo in order to obtain all trade goods in order to run the commands

How Trade Posts Work

Each trade post has a cargo item they sell to the player. For example, the Atlantic Trade Post sells Atlantic Cargo and buys every other cargo item sold by other trade posts, so the Atlantic Trade Post will buy Caribbean cargo and Mediterranean cargo from the player.

Selling in larger bulk will earn you more profit per trip, but also provide more risk due to the larger investment in the loaded cargo.

Creating historical canals (Panama Canal and Suez Canal) and other canals is permitted so long as they are not built with excessive terraforming. If you have any questions, create a ticket on our Discord.
